Pithing Needle and Phyrexian Revoker and the abilities the can stop

Can Pithing Needle and Phyrexian Revoker stop the bloodrush, bestow, and morph mechanics?

Bloodrush is an activated ability and can be stopped.

Bestow is NOT an activated ability. It represents two static abilities. It cannot be shut down.

Morph is NOT an activated ability. It represents a static ability. Turning a face-down card face up for its morph cost is a special action, not an activated ability. It cannot be shut down.

Remember, activated abilities are always of the form "[cost]: [effect]." There's always a colon separating the activation cost from the effect. No colon, no activated ability.

Interestingly, Morph is a static ability that lets you cast a card as a face down creature spell. The special action of flipping a morph face up is not an ability granted by morph (or an ability at all, though it does require the card to have morph (the ability) to determine the cost you need to pay to flip it face up). Morph is fun! /offtopic
