Pay multiple times?

Vorosh, the Hunter has an ability that lets you add counters to him. I was wondering if you could pay the cost for the ability multiple times on a single attack? Or are you only limited to triggering the ability once per attack?

The way it works is when Vorosh deals combat damage to a player, it's ability triggers and goes on the stack (just once). Any player, starting with you, may respond to the trigger. Once all players are done responding (and any responses have already resolved), it's ability will resolve and only then give you the option to pay mana or not. You'll only be able to pay the mana once (unless you copied the ability, in which case you may pay for each copy).
