Patron of the Orochi + Temur Sabretooth

Asked by Pedrodamus 8 years ago

If I have a Patron of the Orochi out, activate his ability, then bounce him with Temur Sabertooth, does that reset his once per turn ruling? I say no, a friend says it does.

I think it would reset. the creature left play and then re-entered, so I think it would reset. But not sure though.

It would reset. Whenever a creature leaves play and reenters, it is considered a new object.

Of course, you would need a way for Patron of the Orochi to gain haste so it can activate it's ability. But that's something you can figure out :)

Yes, as the creature would be a different permanent from the one that was in play. But you would need some way to give the creature haste.
