orrery and unearth

Any reason Vedalken Orrery doesn't make Sedris, the Traitor King's unearth ability instant speed? Maybe the word "only" in the unearth text?
Do [something] only any time you could cast a sorcery means only during a main phase on your turn, when the stack is empty and you have priority. Even if you can cast sorceries at other times due to other effects (like Vedalken Orrery or Hypersonic Dragon), when you can use those abilities doesn't change.

I had interpreted Sed's ab as casting the creature, but it just says put it into play. My confusion, thanks

Vedalken Orrery's text specially says you may cast spells at instant speed. Unearth isn't casting a spell.
