Order of Operations.

My deck, Green/white landfall , revolves around putting lands not only on the board, but also in the graveyard due to Knight of the Reliquary. Armageddon does a fantastic job of putting lands in the graveyard. Is it possible to activate Knight of the Reliquary and Armageddon to where you sacrifice the lands, but end the turn with a land on the board from the Knight's activated ability? I think that the provided answer in this link to a forum question answers my question (in the affirmative), but I'm still missing a piece. Any help would be very appreciated.

No, you won't be able to do that without getting some other cards involved.

If you cast Armageddon and respond by activating Knight of the Reliquary, the Knight's ability will resolve first. Armageddon will then destroy the land you put onto the battlefield along with everything else.

You can get what you want by adding Vedalken Orrery or something similar that will allow you to activate the Knight and then respond with Armageddon (normally you can't do this because Armageddon is a sorcery). In that case, Armageddon will resolve first and then the Knight's ability will resolve and put a land onto the battlefield.
