No cost Stasis with Eon Hub?

Would Stasis be able to stay out indefinitely(mana independent) if Eon Hub was in play?

Just looking for clarification, if you skip the phase, does that change the need to pay the cost?

You don't have an upkeep step, so Stasis's upkeep ability never triggers. Each player's turn starts with the draw step. You will not need to pay the upkeep cost, nor will you be able to sacrifice it to that ability.
