New Partner Commanders and Commander Damage

I am using 2 commanders with the new partner commanders being released, lets say Tana, the Bloodsower and Bruse Tarl, Boorish Herder. Lets say to a given opponent I deal 10 comabat damage from Bruse and 11 combat damage from Tana. Does that count as 21 lethal commander damage, or does it have to be one of them that deals all 21?

I imagine it will be separate commander damage. However, there will most likely be a rules update to address this.

They're tracked separately. The Commander 2016 Release Notes have the text of the new rule addressing this. It reads in part:

702.123d ...When determining whether a player has been dealt 21 or more combat damage by the same commander, consider damage from each of your two commanders separately...
