Narset, Transcendant -2 and the stack

Asked by thatwendell 9 years ago

I use Narset, Transcendant's -2 and then play a Dig Through Time, my opponent counters it and then I counter the counter. Would the dig get rebound or would my counter get rebound since it was first on the stack or would my dig get it because it was "cast" first?

Please make sure you're spelling the card names properly.
Narset Transcendent

Narset Transcendent's -2 ability creates a delayed triggered ability that triggers the next time you cast an instant or sorcery spell this turn. When you cast that spell, the DTA triggers. The DTA can only give rebound to the instant or sorcery spell that triggered it.

Also, be careful about saying "first on the stack." Dig Through Time is the first object on the stack because it was cast over an empty stack and is therefore on the bottom of the stack.
