morphing a target
Asked by WorkAround 9 years ago
If a MORPH was targeted. If I use the morph would the instant sizzle?
If Bring Low was targeting MORPH which is Grim Haruspex and I morph it. Would Bring Low sizzle because the target is gone?

As a rule of thumb, status changes such as tapping, morphing, flipping, or transforming never cause the permanent to become a new permanent. It's still the same permanent, even if some of its characteristics may change as a result of the change.

No. Face down is a state like tapped or untapped. When you unmorph something it still is the same creature but it just has different characteristics.
Also the word is "fizzle"
