mikaeus and ballista?

I was just wondering if Mikaeus, the Unhallowed and Walking Ballista worked because mikaeus gives everything non-human +1/+1 AND undying.
It would work with any free sac outlet as an infinite loop.

This doesn't work as well as Mikeaus + Triskelion if that's what you mean, because Walking Ballista will be a 1/1 with one +1/+1 counter on it every time it undies, and will need to deal 1 damage to itself in order to keep looping. This makes it an infinite death loop, but not infinite damage.
For that you need an extra card like Blood Artist like acbooster said, something to give Walking Ballista an extra counter like Master Biomancer, or some way to make Walking Ballista die after it deals damage to something else like Ashnod's Altar.

I'm not quite sure what your asking here about them working or not.
Mikaeus will give the Ballista +1/+1, making it a base 1/1. In order to remove all of the counters from the Ballista and have it die, you would have to have it deal 1 damage to itself in order to have lethal damage marked.
This can get into an infinitely repeatable loop for anything that triggers on an artifact or creature entering or leaving the battlefield, e.g. Blood Artist and Dross Scorpion.
