liliana and ultimate cards in exile

when you pop Liliana of the Veil ultimate and I have cards in exile like from Oblivion Ring do you separate those cards as well? if so do they still stay in exile if they are kept or come back under my control?
Though if they have an Oblivion Ring in the pile which gets sacrificed, your exiled thing will come back.

You only separate the permanents that player controls. Permanents are cards on the battlefield; cards in exile are not permanents. Cards in exile are not affected by Liliana of the Veil 's ultimate.
