Lifeline and animated land interaction

Would Lifeline bring back lands animated by Rude Awakening if they died with a creature still in play.

Yes. At the time of death, Lifeline would see that a creature died. It then tracks the object that was the creature and returns it at the beginning of the next end step.

Yes, they will. The oracle text for the card - which can be found at the Gatherer or magiccards.info (both useful sites) - clears this up a bit.
Whenever a creature dies, if another creature is on the battlefield, return the first card to the battlefield under its owner's control at the beginning of the next end step.
Lifeline doesn't care if the card is a creature in the graveyard. It only cares whether or not the card is a creature when it dies. Hope this helped!
