Land to creature Trigger effect

When you turn a land into a creature ie. Blinkmoth Nexus into creature, does it trigger 'when creature comes into play' abilities?

No. It isn't coming into play, it is already in play and is just changing characteristics.

If you are in a room and change your shirt, you don't re-enter the room :D
