Is Mirror Pool after Rebound upkeep possible?

Asked by Loreshadow 8 years ago

Do you get to untap your mana and cast your chosen Rebound spell to then copy it with sacrificing Mirrorpool? Or do you have to do it before untapping?

The first few phases of the turn in order are

Untap

Upkeep

Draw

You will untap all your permanents. Then the rebound delayed trigger will go on the stack at the beginning of the upkeep phase. If you decide to cast the exiled card you will then put it on the stack. At this point you can activate Mirrorpool's ability to copy the spell.

Nitpick:

Note that you don't untap mana. Mana is an intangible resource used to pay certain kinds of costs. Mana is produced by lands and other cards.

You untap permanents, which are cards or tokens on the battlefield.
