Is Devoted Druid + Melira, Sylvok Outcast an infinite combo?

So, I was just thinking about that because Devoted Druid says "put a -1/-1 counter on Devoted Druid " and Melira, Sylvok Outcast says "-1/-1 counter cant be placed on creatures you control" so does that mean you cant pay the cost of Devoted Druid 's untap?

It's fine to have your head in the clouds, but make sure your feet stay on the ground.

GreatSword for that you have to either be really really tall or live on a high mountain :)

No, this isn't a combo. Melira prevents you from paying the cost of putting the -1/-1 counter on Devoted Druid , so you won't be able to activate her second ability while Melira is out.
