Is annihilator cumulative?

Asked by belugawhaleonthefloor 9 years ago

I have Emrakul, the Aeons Torn , out and my opponent has 4 Fugitive Wizard 's and 4 Rootwalla 's. Then I cast an Eldrazi Conscription on Emrakul, so does he have Annihilator 8?? Or Annihilator 6, and then 2?? Or how does that work??

No. While the end effect will be the opponent sacrificing 8 permanents, each Annihilator ability will trigger separately in the order that you choose.

Yes, they do stack

"Annihilator 6, and then 2" is probably a more technically correct way to describe it, since both annihilator triggers resolve independent of one another, but the guy will still sacrifice 8 permanants in the end.

My question is why your opponent didn't auto-scoop when you resolved Eldrazi Conscription on your Emrakul, the Aeons Torn , then attacked. No amount of Fugitive Wizard s will save you then.

@CrazyLittleGuy What if you had 15 Fugitive Wizard and a Wonder in your graveyard?
