Is a creature affected by summoning sickness if it comes under your control at the begining of your upkeep?

If a creature comes into play at the beggining of your upkeep, like if I controled Thopter Spy Network would the 1/1 thopter have summoning sickness during my turn? I know that a creature does not have summoning sickness as long as you have controlled it since the begining of your upkeep. But how would this apply if you gained the creature at the begining of your upkeep? Thanks for the help

No, the beginning of your turn is before your upkeep, it's even before your untap step!

Here's how I see it:

Start of Turn, Untap, Upkeep, Draw, MP1, Declare Attackers, Declare Blockers, 2x Damage Steps, MP2, End Step, Cleanup (EOT).

Summoning sickness applies to a creature that has not been under your continuous control since the beginning of the your turn. This means that you have to control it before the untap step happens. If it leaves play for some reason (Ex. Cloudshift or changes control Control Magic then is was not under your continuous control and will have summoning sickness.

Assemble the Legion has to give the soldiers haste in order to achieve the desired effect because they will have summoning sickness, even though they enter play during the upkeep.
