If you take control of a creature do you take the artifacts equiped to it

If I summon Zealous Conscripts while you have Borborygmos Enraged who is equiped with Darksteel Plate does Borborygmos still have darksteel if I take control of him

Borborygmos will still have the benefit of the Darksteel Plate when you take control of him but your opponent will still have control of the equipment. Said person would be able to equip it onto a creature they control, the same way you would be able to equip in any other instance. Mind, there's no "unequip" ability, so it will stay on Borborygmos until it can be put on another creature or Borborygmos leaves the battlefield in some way.

He is still equipped with the Darksteel Plate , but you do not control the equipment. So you cannot move the equipment to another creature you control, and they can move it to another creature they control if they can use an equip ability (either because of something letting them activate equip abilities at instant speed or because you control the equipped creature during their turn)
