If a spell is countered while it's on a Possibility Storm stack, will Possibility Storm'a ability still resolve?

Asked by Yesterday 7 years ago

And/or if I exile a spell (like with Nivmagus Elemental) while Possibility Storm's ability is on the stack, will Possibility Storm still resolve?

I'm asking because Possibility Storm doesn't specify that it only resolved if the initial spell is successfully exiled this way.

Gatherer answers this nicely for you, which is why it's the first place you normally want to check:

If Possibility Storm's ability doesn't exile the original spell (perhaps because another Possibility Storm already exiled it), you'll still exile cards from the top of your library until you exile a card that shares a card type with it and have the opportunity to cast that spell.

Yes.

From Gatherer:
