DoesStony Silence disable Amulet of Vigor?
Activated abilities are formatted as (cost): (effect). Triggered abilities begin with "when," "whenever," or "at." All other abilities are static abilities.
Amulet of Vigor has a triggered ability, not activated. Stony Silence only blocks activated abilities, so it has no effect on the Amulet.

No. Since Amulate of vigor is a triggered ability Stoney silence has no effect on it.
An activated ability is always in this format "(cost): [effect]." for example Strionic Resonator
A triggered ability follows this format: "(Trigger condition), [effect].” Example: Purphoros, God of the Forge

Short answer no, Amulet of Vigor ability is triggered so Stony Silence would not affect it. An activated ability would be something like Unstable Obelisk's ability. hope this helps, happy tapping:)
