I have a Soul Warden and I Mercy Killing my opponent's Erebos, God of the Dead. Do I gain life from the tokens?

I have a Soul Warden and I cast Mercy Killing on my opponent's Erebos, God of the Dead . Do I still gain life from the tokens?

Yes. The tokens enter the battlefield, which causes Soul Warden 's ability to trigger that many times.

More importantly Erebos is no longer there to prevent you gaining life
