I have a question about Icy Blast's rules text.

Earlier I had a match with my friend and he played Icy Blastwith Ferocious triggered. Two turns later I tried to untap my creatures but my friend pointed out that Icy Blast's Ferocious text read "those creatures don't untap during their controllers' next untap steps" so I decided to go with it and I didn't untap those guys until the game ended. So is it true that the pluralized 'steps' intends to keep my creatures tapped forever or is it a typo?

Note that ferocious doesn't trigger. It's either true or not true.

No, they doesnt untap during the next untap step of his controller (the next one after the current turn), the pluralized "STEPS" makes reference to diferents players "untap steps"
its because of Icy Blast can make target to creatures with diferents controllers.
