How would a Genesis Hydra Surrak Dragonclaw and a counter interaction work

Genesis Hydra's ability read as you cast and i know that if he gets countered i still reveal and put into play now if i cast him reveal and play Surrak Dragonclaw wil my Hydra still be countered or wil Surrak Prevent that

Genesis Hydra's ability is a triggered ability that triggers when you cast Genesis Hydra. Therefore, it's put onto the stack directly above Genesis Hydra itself. If your opponent responds to the ability by countering Genesis Hydra, you don't get to resolve the ability until after the counter resolves. If, however, your opponent allows the ability to begin resolving, you can put Surrak Dragonclaw out and keep your spell safe.
