how to calculate devotion with gray merchant of asphodel when using zombie apocalypse

If I cast Zombie Apocalypse and Gray Merchant of Asphodel is in my grave yard do I include all the other zombies being brought back towards the devotion or just what was already on the field at the time?
To answer the second question first, the Zombie Apocalypse would finish resolving before anything else starts resolving, so ETB effects happen after the Humans die.
To answer the first question, the Zombies will be on the field when Gray Merchant of Asphodel resolves, so they will be counted for devotion.
