How does Whip of Erebos interact with Mutate?

Asked by Metroid_Hybrid 3 years ago

Say I use Whip of Erebos to pull a Creature out of my Graveyard, and then Mutate another Creature on top of the first one. What happens at the End of Turn? What gets Exiled? The original card? The entire stack? ...or nothing at all?

The object returned to the battlefield by Whip of Erebos will be exiles. Even though it's name and stats changed by mutating a card on top of it, it's still the same object, so it will still be exiled. All cards composing the object will be exiles, so the new creature card you added gets exiled along with the original returned from the graveyard.
