Future Sight

Asked by Colten_Lee 9 years ago

So I was playing a game of magic with a friend earlier today when he used a Future Sight . And he said the he doesn't have to pay the mana cost of the top card of his deck when that card is out as it let's him play if. I said he still had to pay but he said he didn't. So I let him play this way (which was a b****) but I still won.

You were correct. In order for a card to allow you to play spells without paying their mana costs, it must specifically say so. Future Sight says no such thing.

He has to pay the mana cost of a card he wants to play unless it specifically says otherwise (like with Master of Predicaments ), so yes, he would have to pay for cards revealed with Future Sight .
