Furyblade Vampire - +3/0 for each vampire?

Asked by krunchyfrogg 7 years ago

Let's say I have two copies of Furyblade Vampire on the battlefield, and I discard one card at the beginning of combat.

Does each vampire get +3/0 or just one?

Each Furyblade Vampire has its own triggered ability. During the resolution of each ability, you'll have the option of paying a cost (discarding a card). If you do, the Furyblade Vampire that is the source of the currently-resolving ability will get +3/+0. Discarding one card does not pay for both costs. Costs must always be paid individually.

Note that whenever a card references its name in its text, it means "this object." If an effect cares about the particular name of an object, it will use a phrase like "card named ~."

An example of a card that works like you proposed is Cylian Sunsinger.
