Forbidden Orchard Spirits, No they dont have flying.

Im just wondering with Forbidden Orchard It says to put the spirit under an opponents control, does that imply that you own the spirit? It would be very useful to know this for cards like Zedruu the Greathearted and Homeward Path .

Owner is only for cards since 'owner' is the person who brought the card to the current game. Tokens are not cards and as such their owner (if they have owner which I'm not sure they do) is the person who controlled them when they entered the battlefield.

You do not own the tokens, as they entered the battlefield under your opponent's control. Tokens actually have a special rule to determine the token's owner:

  • 110.5a A token is both owned and controlled by the player under whose control it entered the battlefield.
