Flamerush Rider + Ambuscade Shaman

Asked by DruneGrey 9 years ago

Say I have Ambuscade Shaman on the battlefield and I dash in 2 Flamerush Rider, the riders first get +2/+2 for ETB and become 5/5, when they attack this turn and create token copies of each other, do the tokens come in as 5/5 and also get the +2/+2 ETB to become attacking 7/7 ?

The tokens enter as Flamerush riders as if you had just played another. They will enter as 3/3s and then get +2/+2 making them 5/5's. Buffs, counters, equipment, none of this gets copied when you copy something, generally just the unmodified information (unless the copy effect states that the copy retains or gains something)

No. Copy effects copy only what is written on the original object, and they apply any other effects as mandated by copy effects copying those objects.

Flamerush Rider's printed P/T is 3/3, so your tokens will be 3/3 and will get a buff up to 5/5 from Ambuscade Shaman.
