Keep seeing these two infinite combos but can't figure out how they work.
Infinite mill -Altar of the Brood+Liquimetal Coating+Saheeli Rai
Infinite damage -Disciple of the Vault+Liquimetal Coating+Saheeli Rai

Basically the copy is STILL an artifact so it can still target itself.

Altar of the Brood also works with Felidar Guardian instead of Liquimetal Coating

At that point though, altar is dead weight. Win with Saheeli Rai and the cat.

As a note, the new Saheeli Rai isn't "still" an artifact, because the effect of Liquimetal Coating isn't a copiable attribute, the reason the copy is an artifact is because the -2 ability of Saheeli makes the token "an artifact in addition to its other types."

Neotrup Yes, I know DarkMagician and he knows that tokens have no relation to what it copies. I was simply explaining the thought process, I imagined the whole in thought was missing that the copy was an artifact so it could target itself.

Liquimetal Coating makes Saheeli Rai an artifact. Rai copies herself with her minus 2 triggering Altar of the Brood. Alternatively, the planeswalker legend rule causes original Rai to go to the graveyard triggering Disciple of the Vault. New Rai copies herself again and the process repeats.
