Experiment One evolve trigger

I am a bit off for what happens when I have in play a 1/1 Experiment One then I cast a unleashed Rakdos Cackler will it evolve the Experiment One?

Yes. When a creature enters the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it, it does exactly that. It doesn't enter the battlefield and gain the counter afterwards.

Therefore, Rakdos Cackler will enter the battlefield as a 2/2. This is significant because evolve is written with an intervening "if" clause. It checks the P/T of the new creature both at the time the ability would trigger and at the time it would resolve. The ability only triggers if the new creature's power or toughness is higher as it enters, and it only gives the evolve creature a counter if the new creature's power or toughness is still higher as the ability resolves.
