Experiment Kraj + Simic Ragworm

Asked by randomguy123 8 years ago

Experiment Kraj gains the activated abilities of all creatures with +1/+1 counters on them. That I understaind. My question is: How do those abilities work with cards like Simic Ragworm or Devoted Druid, which say "untap Simic Ragworm/Devoted Druid" (not "this creature") respectively. Does it untap Experiment Kraj, does it untap the named creature, does it fizzle, etc.

When a card uses its own name, it really means "this object." The exception is if the card reads "card(s) named ~," in which case it means any card with that name.

Self-referential abilities gained by Experiment Kraj will refer to Kraj as appropriate.

Also, a spell or ability can only fizzle if it requires targets and those targets are all illegal in resolution.
