ETB mana and EDH

if say Burning-Tree Emissary resolves in a commander game (cast as GG) because the commander is bant (guw) does the ETB produce RG or 1G. If RG is generated, can you cast something such as Figure of Destiny with it even though you're using red to cast it?

First things first: Burning-Tree Emissary can't be included in a deck for a Bant commander because the color identity doesn't match. The commander has a WUG identity, but Emissary has a RG identity. Similarly, Figure of Destiny wouldn't be allowed because it has a WR identity

So let's say you're able to get an Emissary entering under your control by some other method. If mana of a color outside of your commander's identity would be added to your mana pool, colorless mana is added instead. The Emissary will add to your mana pool.
