ETB Abilities

If I play Experiment One turn one and next turn I play Avatar of the Resolute does Avatar of the Resolute get a +1/+1 counter? Is Avatar's ability a triggered ability that I can arrange on the stack or does it just ETB normally. Soo.... Do they both get +1/+1 counters when Avatar enters or only Experiment One?

Triggered abilities begin with "when," "whenever," or "at."
Avatar of the Resolute's ability is just a static ability that defines a replacement effect that, in turn, modifies how Avatar of the Resolute enters the battlefield. It is not a triggered ability. If you don't control any creatures with +1/+1 counters at the time Avatar of the Resolute is entering the battlefield, you won't get any bonus counters.
Evolve will trigger, though.
