Embalm Creatures In EDH

Can I have an embalm creature like Aven Initiate in a Sultai EDH deck? Once you use embalm, it's color identity becomes white, but it's identity isn't white in the first place. Since embalm is new, I wasn't too sure on the ruling.

Yes,the color identity is only blue. An ability can create a colored token that has a different identity than the permanent or card that created it.
