Does Vigor allow Enrage triggers to occur?

I'm making an enrage dino deck and I was wondering if Vigor's effect would stack with enrage or override it. I'm looking at it to see if it would buff my dinosaurs as well as allow enrage to occur freely.

Vigor prevents damage so you will not get enrage triggers.

What Gidgetimer says makes sense as the card states, "If damage would be dealt..." rather than "If damage was dealt..."
