Does this interaction work with Essence of the Wild and Creatures with Zero toughness?

So let's say that I sacrifice Protean Hulk, and search my library for Essence of the Wild, and multiple creatures with zero CMC and toughness such as Phyrexian Marauder, Shifting Wall, and Endless One.
Do all of the zero CMC creatures die when they enter the battlefield, or do they enter the battlefield as a copy of Essence of the Wild? I understand that they all enter the battlefield at the same time, I just don't know if they die because Essence of the Wild wasn't on the battlefield first (due to a state-based action of zero toughness), or if they enter as copies.

Since they enter the battlefield at the same time Essence of the Wild is not on the battlefield AS they enter and therefore can not affect them. They will enter as 0/0s and die to SBAs.

The creatures don't enter as copies of Essence of the Wild. Since they're all entering the battlefield at the same time as Essence of the Wild, that means Essence's ability doesn't yet exist on the battlefield at the time you figure out if there are any special effects you need to apply as the creatures enter.

The replacement effect of Essence of the Wild cannot be applied to creatures entering at the same time, so they will enter as 0/0s. Even if they survive due to something like a Gaea's Anthem they will not become copies of Essence of the Wild.
