Does this infinite burn combo work? And if so does anyone use it?

I was developing a deck for commander after Saskia the Unyielding came out and wondered if these two cards worked the way I intended. I only question it because after looking it up on Youtube and tappedout, I realize that no one else uses it. It only requires Sekki, Seasons' Guide and Warstorm Surge or anything similar. When you cast Sekki, Seasons' Guide you target himself with the damage from Warstorm Surge . You then get 8 spirits and deal the necessary damage wherever you want. Afterwards you sacrifice the spirits to bring Sekki, Seasons' Guide and repeat until your opponent is dead.

I just thought there must be something messed up with my thinking since no one ever brought it up.

Sekki is a very underrated card. If you have Gaea's Anthem out the combo turns from infinite damage to infinite tokens, which is admittedly not as good, but shows the power of the card.

Looks good. other things on board could disrupt it, but that's true of all combos.
