Does the enchantment ¨Rain of gore¨ affects the ability of ¨Spirit Loop¨?

The rules says that Rain of Gore not aply to life gain caused by combat damage from creatures with lfelink. The spirit loop gives the enchanted creature the ability to gain life when this creature deals combat damage. This hability is similar than the lifelink hability but is not lifelink.

Rain of Gore doesn't care if it's lifelink it cares about gaining life, Spirit Loop causes life gains so you will lose that much life instead

4/15/2013 This does not apply to life gain caused by combat damage from a creature with lifelink.
The reason for this is that in this case the combat damage is the source of the life with lifelink, not the static ability lifelink itself. Thus Rain of Gore doesn't apply.
