Does Swarm Intelligence go infinite with twincasting spells?

Hi,

I am very close to fine tuning my Mizzix deck. What does Swarm Intelligence do with Reiterate with lets say Lightning Bolt? Does it go infinite on the lightning bolt? Sounds broken.

To copy a spell is not the same as casting a spell. Copies just go on the stack and are never cast. So the copy will not trigger Swarm Intelligence. So no, not infinite. With these 3 cards you could cast Lightning Bolt and copy it 3 times assuming you did not buyback your Reiterate.

You could have the copy of Reiterate repeatedly copy the original Reiterate, but you don't net anything each iteration, so it can be shortcutted to just copying the Lightning Bolt with the end result being bolting 4 things.
