Does Quite Contemplation trigger itself?

Does casting Quiet Contemplation let you use its own ability on the turn it was cast?

Abilities only function while cards are on the battlefield, unless otherwise stated. By the time Quiet Contemplation is on the battlefield, it is well past the time its ability had triggered (the moment it was cast), so no. You can't use Quiet Contemplation's trigger on itself.
