does Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker go back to the command zone if exiled by a champion ability?

My opponent used Lightning Crafter to exile kiki
Whenever an effect moves your commander to the exile zone or the graveyard, you may choose to move it to the command zone instead.
It doesn't matter what caused it to be moved to those zones, and it also doesn't matter what zone it came from.
You also get to choose whether or not it goes to the command zone. If you decide that you want to exile Kiki-Jiki after all, you're allowed to do that.
Also, there was recently a change to the commander rules that does something similar for when your commander is moved to the library. I haven't personally read the details on that, but I would assume that It works exactly the same as when you commander would be put in exile or the graveyard does.

Yes, you can put kiki in the command zone if it would bep laced in exile for any reason. However, if Crafter leaves the battlefield and Kiki is not exiled, it will not return to the battlefield, since the Champion ability cannot it track it outside of exile.
