Does Hot Soup destroy the Indestructible?

As the title says, if I were to use the combo Darksteel Citadel + Ensoul Artifact + Hot Soup , and my opponent casts something like Searing Blood, Lightning Strike, etc, on it, would Citadel be destroyed?

Alright, thanks! I wasn't sure if some rule with Hot Soup negated the ability.

Cards do only what they say--no more, no less. Hot Soup doesn't create any special effects that would allow it to negate indestructible.

To further that point, if the developers had wanted Hot Soup to send the equiped creature to the graveyard regardless of indestructability, it would have read something along the lines of "Whenever equiped creature is dealt damage, sacrifice it"

Indestructible literally means cannot be destroyed. It doesn't matter whether the destruction event would be caused by an effect or by lethal damage. An indestructible permanent cannot be destroyed.
