Does copying loyalty abilities allow me to copy emblems?

Asked by Eldrazi13 3 years ago

What I was wodnering is, if I used a spell like Repeated Reverberation on Ral, Izzet Viceroy while they had 8 loyalty counters, could I copy Ral's effect and get myself 2 emblems? Or would it have to target one of his other abilities?

its a loyalty ability the same as the other 2, so why wouldn't it work? Repeated Reverberation just says "loyalty ability", not "loyalty ability excluding those with certain effects".

you'd also end up with 3 emblems instead of 2.

DragonSliver9001 Just answer the question. People don't come here for condescension and snark.

DragonSliver9001, it is unfortunate that Repeated Reverberation cannot be put into an EDH deck that has Atraxa, Praetors' Voice as the general, but I suppose that such an effect would be far too powerful, given that she can cause planeswalkers to reach sufficient loyalty to produce their emblems with frightening swiftness.
