Does Bushi Tenderfoot Flip give Soulflayer doublestrike?

If Soulflayer exiles a Bushi Tenderfoot from your graveyard would it get the double strike from bushi's flipped form?

A flip card only has its "flip side" characteristics while it's on the battlefield and flipped. In every other situation it only has the normal starting characteristics. The starting characteristics of Bushi Tenderfoot don't include anything that will help Soulflayer.
