Does and undying creature 'enter the battlefield' again when it returns?

I'm quite new to MTG and still picking up the rules. I have discovered that I love hydrae and anything that gives +1/+1 counters, however, so here is my question...

Does an undying creature (for example Young Wolf )'enter the battlefield' again when it returns from the dead with a +1/+1 on it, or is it considered to be the same creature?

I would like to know as I have acquired the card Oran-Rief, the Vastwood which allows me to place a +1/+1 counter on each green creature "that entered the battlefield this turn".

Yes - toe die means "being put into the graveyard from the battlefield", and whenever an object changes zones, it's considered a new object with no memory of it's previous existance. Regardless of the last part, being put on the battlefield from the graveyard is entering the battlefield, and that's exactly what Undying does (even though players often don't go through the motions and actually move those cards to the graveyard and back).

Therefore, you are able to place counters on those creatures with Oran-Rief, the Vastwood - this would also be a much more favorable combination of that creature had Persist instead of Undying, by the way, as the +1/+1 counter would immediately remove the -1/-1 counter, allowing you to return a creature from a graveyard as often as you'd like (and go undisturbed).
