Do They Work together

I plan to put in my mono white deck a Sphere of Reason, and a Sphere of Law (along with the other spheres).
My question is will they both activate if a creature like The Locust God were to do damage to me and prevent 4 damage?

Neotrup Thanks for the help in one of the recent games that i was playing i had been protected for most of the game so far with having Island Sanctuary , Nephalia Academy , and Light of Day on the battlefield then after them kill each other the next thing that i realized was a swarm of 1/1 blue red flying locusts all flying towards me oneshoting me. after that yah i am updating my deck.

Neither "activate" or "trigger" (both of those have specific rules meanings for different types of abilities) but both do apply their damage prevention effects, so if a multicolor creature like The Locust God (or it's tokens) would deal damage to you 4 of that damage would prevented.
