Do I lose when Fascination second mode is cast for more than my deck size?

If Fascination 's second mode is cast for X=4 when I have 3 cards left in my library, do I lose on the spot or do I just put the 3 cards into my graveyard and lose the next time I draw a card?

You only lose when you have to draw a card, but cannot.

You lose the next time you would draw a card. The relevant rule is:

104.3c If a player is required to draw more cards than are left in their library, they draw the remaining cards and then lose the game the next time a player would receive priority.

So you don't lose from having 0 cards in library, just from trying to draw more cards than you have in your library.
