Do I get 2 creatures from Grave Scrabbler and Tortured Existence?

I have Tortured Existence in play and activate its ability to get a creature back to my hand. I choose to discard Grave Scrabbler, I then opt to cast Grave Scrabbler for its Madness cost, triggering its second ability. Do I get back 2 creatures; one from Existence and one from Scrabbler?

Yes, that works. Madness can be applied if the card is being discarded for any reason at all. From a cost, an effect, a game rule, whatever.
