I'm attacking with 3 montrous fleecemanes and my opponent is blocking with 2 dawnbringers with indestructable that can block multiple creatures. My opponent says that each can block 2 of the fleecemanes. I say only one of them can block 2 because once a creature is blocked another defending creature can't block it.

Please tag all cards in your questions.
There is no rule that states that an attacking creature cannot be blocked by more than one creature. However, unless some effect is letting the dawnbringers block multiple creatures, such as Brave the Sands , they can only block one lion each. If there is such an effect, then they can each block two lions.

KrosanTusker you're right in response to the last part, multiple creatures can block a single creature. But I'm confused by op's question, two parts confuse me "... with 2 dawnbringers with indestructable that can block multiple creatures" and "My opponent says that each (dawnbringers) can block 2 fleecemanes."
What provides the "can block multiple creatures"?
And is this about a creature blocking multiple creatures? or multiple creatures blocking?

Fleecemane Lion , Dawnbringer Charioteers (probably). Please link all the cards in your question. If you're asking for help, make it easy for people! Especially for a card like the Dawnbringer Charioteers (which I have never seen played in constructed), we don't want to have to look it up before we can help you. /rantover
In answer to your question, any one creature (excepting card-specific abilities) can be blocked by multiple creatures, eg. I attack with a Nessian Courser and you block with three Fugitive Wizard s to kill it.
If the blocking creatures can somehow block other creatures as well, that doesn't change the fact that your Fleecemane Lion s can each be blocked by as many creatures as are available.
A creature can be blocked by more than one creature so your opponent is right.
